Master Qiang Li is a world-renowned expert in Chinese martial arts, including in Kung Fu, Wushu, and Tai Chi. She is an International Wushu Federation A-level Judge and a U.S. National Wushu Team coach. She has competed in, judged, and coached Chinese martial arts at the highest levels. She is currently based in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.
Master Li began studying Wushu at the age of six. She exhibited immense talent, and at the age of fifteen, she joined the Beijing Wushu Team, the same team that produced the martial arts action star Jet Li. During her decade-long tenure on the team, Master Li received meticulous guidance from Mr. Wu Bin, the founder of the Beijing Wushu Team and the former coach of Jet Li. Between 1996 and 2001, she participated in numerous national and international Wushu competitions, winning first place titles in Broad Sword, Double Broad Sword, Staff, and Southern Fist.
Between competitions, Master Li and her fellow teammates traveled around the globe as part of the Beijing Wushu Team’s world tours. In 2003, Master Li retired from professional competition and began her career as a Wushu coach. She coached for the national Wushu teams of South Korea, Sweden, and Belgium. In 2007, she settled in the United States and has trained numerous students to win positions on the U.S. National Wushu Team.
Master Li is a dedicated teacher who emphasizes precision and accuracy in every movement. Her deep passion for martial arts is highly motivating for students of all skill levels, from beginners to professionals.
